REGULAR SHIPPING IN USA: Small Orders: We ship most orders by USPS Priority Mail. Your order is usually delivered within 3 - 5 days in the Continental US. Shipping and handling are calculated online via USPS according to the weight of your shipment.
RUSH shipping in USA: If you need your products fast, we offer 2nd Day or OVERNIGHT Delivery for an additional fee. Overnight and expedited shipping must be received by 10 AM EST to be shipped that day. From the course catalog click on the link for the Continuing Education Courses. To order the course, add it to your cart. Once your order has processed, the screen will show a link to the electronic course. Also, you will be sent an email with the same link.
We offer two options for online CE:
All online courses are housed at a Learning Management Site (LMS), Educadium. Select the online CE product and you will be directed to the LMS site to purchase and access the product.
To complete the CE course, read the text, complete ALL the quizzes and case studies and take the competency exam. Users must score a minimum of 70% to receive a Certificate of Completion. You must also complete the Professional Continuing Education Survey. Print your Certificate of Completion for your CDR portfolio.
Our current offering of paper courses are 14-18 hr CE. After purchasing one of our courses, you will receive a soft-cover book and CE packet.
To complete the CE course, read the text, complete the quizzes and case studies and take the final competency exam. We will contact you if you score less than 70% on the competency exam. Successful users will receive a Certificate of Completion by email or postal mail.
A multi-user license allows you to share your Online CE course or Softcover CE Course with another RDN/NDTR. You may purchase the multi-user license at the time of the original purchase or within 12 months of original purchase. All users must complete the course within 12 months of the original purchase. Multi-user license is not available for CE Express products or online instructional modules for students.
Yes! All of our courses are pre-approved for CE credit. Exams postmarked by May 31 count in the current registration year. You are responsible for keeping track of your course completions using the Professional Development Portfolio.
Yes! New editions are new courses! The Commission on Dietetic Registration has determined that revised editions of correspondence courses are considered completely new courses. You may use CE credit from both old and new editions of a course during the same re-certification period, so long as both courses are completed before expiration (the "Complete by" date).
Many professional governing bodies accept non-pre-approved activities or courses through a "petition" process. A member can submit information to request CE credit on an individual basis. Usually, you will have to submit information about the course, our company, objectives of the course, content information and the author's resume. All of this information is found in the course catalog. Click on the course title. Then click on the links available: Contents, Introduction, Objectives, and Author. You may print all of the information to submit to your affiliation.
REFUND OR EXCHANGE: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days to contact us for a refund or exchange. All returned products must be received in the same condition in which they were sent, (books must be shrink wrapped) to receive a refund or exchange. Shipping charges are not refunded.
Online products are not refundable.
Bookstores may request chargebacks for excess inventory. Contact us directly for approval of a return request.
We accept returned books from bookstores under these conditions:
